Have you heard a so called "expert" in your chosen field and realized you have better or more current information? How were they interviewed? What made the media go to that "expert"? In this chapter I will share the skills, knowledge and methods I have used, and continue to use, to build my brand. There are two main subjects I will focus on in this chapter; 1) Creating Media to build your business and 2) Becoming a paid consultant or expert in your field.
For example: there are many methods you can use to gain the reputation and "expert" status you are looking for, such as:
Write a book sharing your knowledge
Create training materials
Give live speeches
Have on-line presentations, video's, etc...
And so much more...
Here is another great example: Two joint-venture partners and I worked together on a webinar. By working together and pooling our resources we hosted a free webinar to our contacts and the attendee's were offered a training system that created $50,000 of revenue for me and my partners. Although I wasn't the expert on that webinar I had a great group of people that were hungry for the information. This increased my exposure and gave me credibility to my contacts and the others that were on that webinar. You can do this same thing if you study how to do this and work on a plan to make it a reality.
